Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern the use of the InStories extension for Google Chrome and the instories.shop website, operated by [Company name and registration number to be added] ("InStories", "we"). By installing the extension or using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Acceptance of these terms

Using the extension and the site means you fully accept these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. We may update this document from time to time; continued use of the service after an update means you accept the new version.

2. What InStories is

InStories is a browser extension that lets you create, edit and publish Instagram Stories straight from your computer, using the session you already have open on instagram.com. InStories is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or otherwise associated with Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc. "Instagram" is a trademark of its respective owner.

3. Account and eligibility

To use features beyond the essentials, you need to create an account with a valid email and code (OTP) confirmation. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, and you are responsible for keeping your InStories login credentials confidential. To prevent abuse and fraudulent accounts, we limit the number of accounts per device and block disposable email domains.

4. Access to your Instagram account

InStories never asks for, sees, or stores your Instagram account password. Publishing stories happens through the session already authenticated in your browser — the same mechanism you'd use visiting instagram.com directly. You are solely responsible for keeping your Instagram session secure and for any activity published through it.

5. Plans, pricing and billing

We offer a free plan with usage limits (number of accounts, links, stickers and templates) and paid plans (Basic, Pro and Unlimited) with higher limits, billed monthly. Payments are processed by third-party providers (credit card, PayPal and Pix); InStories does not store your full card details. Billing renews automatically, except via Pix, which is renewed manually each cycle.

6. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel automatic renewal at any time, directly from the extension's dashboard. Cancelling stops future charges, but access to your paid plan remains active until the end of the period already paid for. We do not provide prorated refunds for unused time, except where required by applicable law.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use InStories to: circumvent your plan's technical limits; create multiple accounts to bypass restrictions; publish illegal, defamatory, misleading content or content that infringes third-party rights; or attempt to access Instagram accounts that are not your own. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

8. Content and intellectual property

You retain all rights to the content (images, videos, text) you upload and publish through InStories. You are solely responsible for ensuring you hold the necessary rights to that content, including third-party music and GIFs (Deezer, Giphy) used through the editor. The InStories brand, code, design and other elements of the extension and site belong to InStories and may not be copied or redistributed without authorization.

9. Service availability

We make reasonable efforts to keep InStories available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The extension's functioning depends on Instagram's own platform, which is outside our control — we may need to adjust or temporarily suspend features when Instagram changes its platform.

10. Disclaimer of warranties and limitation of liability

InStories is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, data loss, loss of revenue, or any penalty applied by Instagram/Meta to your account as a result of using the extension or violating Instagram's own terms of use.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to InStories at any time in case of a breach of these Terms, fraudulent use, or a legal requirement to do so. You can close your account at any time by contacting our support team.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Use periodically to reflect changes to the service, the law, or our practices. Material changes will be communicated through the site or by email. The last-updated date is shown at the top of this page.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Any disputes will be settled in the courts of InStories' registered jurisdiction, except where applicable consumer-protection law provides otherwise.
